Take me out to the "T-ball game"

We've decided that nothing is more fun than watching your child play t-ball. Even though they aren't as talented as a major league team (or even a 10 year old team for that matter), it's so much fun to watch them hitting, running, and fielding the ball. Today Zach had 2 wonderful hits which were both completely out of the infield. He also had 3 or 4 really great times fielding the ball. He has improved so much since the last game (which was the first) and we're excited to see how well he does during the upcoming games. Way to go Zach!

At the Zoo

Tuesday was our day at the zoo. As the kids get older, we realize how much more fun it is to take them to see the animals. Hailey talked all day about seeing the crocodiles, but once we got there, we couldn't get her to get too close to the glass to really see them. Luckily, we fared better with some of the other animals. The zebras were Zach's favorite and the giraffes were Hailey's favorite. Of course, it changes depending on the day you ask them. It was fun to go with their cousins - Ashton and Branson. Michelle, Kylie, and Nana were there too. We walked around and saw the different animals, had a little picnic, and saw a really fun bird show. We had so much fun!

Graduation Day

Well, we have a big boy now. Zachary graduated from preschool on May 22nd. They had a cute little program and graduation ceremony. They each had a part and they sang cute little songs. Of course we thought Zach was the cutest (we're just a little bit biased). Nana and Papa were able to come down and Zach was happy to have them there. Seeing him graduate from preschool and thinking about him being in kindergarten next year makes me realize how fast time flies by. Seems like just yesterday he was a tiny baby and now he's a big boy in school.

Our family

Since this is my first official blog, I figured I had better introduce our family.

Jeremiah and I have been married for almost 9 years. We have two little angels that the Lord has blessed us with. Zachary is 5 and Hailey is 2. They are such a blessing to us and we love being parents. We currently live in Lehi, Utah and are loving it.

Jeremiah is a PE Teacher at the Ranches Academy Charter School in Eagle Mountain and enjoys coaching the school basketball, soccer, and volleyball teams. I am a Mechanical Engineer for Pratt and Whitney in Connecticut. I work part time and telecommute from home, which is nice since my full time job is being a mom. Zach will start kindergarten this fall and is really excited. He loves all sports and just started t-ball this last week. Hailey is our little princess. She loves anything girly, especially necklaces and bracelets. She chatters non-stop and I sometimes wonder how she doesn't go hoarse during the day with all the talking she does.

That's our family. We keep pretty busy and we love doing things together.

Here we go - FINALLY!

Well, it's take me a while, but I have finally gotten around to doing a blog. Seems like it's taken forever and I just had to dedicate an hour or so to getting this up and going. I'm hoping this will prevent all of the emails I send around to everyone clogging up inbox's and such. I'm sure it will be easier for everyone (including myself) to just post pictures and messages here instead. Thanks to everyone for encouraging me to get on the blogging train!
