*STAR STUDENT*

Zach's Kindergarten Teacher does a "star student" spotlight on one of her students each week. This week was Zach's week. When you're the star student, you make a poster that is displayed in the classroom all week. I asked him a bunch of questions on what his favorites were and we put it all together for him to show. This is the poster we did for him.



It's hard to see what they are from the poster, so I'm going to list them for you:
1. Picture of his family
2. His birthday and where he was born (in Connecticut)
3. His favorite foods - spaghetti, pretzels, and popcorn
4. His favorite sport - basketball and a picture of him dribbling a basketball
5. His favorite show/movie - Scooby Doo
6. His favorite season - winter because he likes to go sledding
7. His favorite sports team - the Chicago Cubs or the "Cubbies" as he likes to call them - Jedd, you have a littel Cubs fan on your hands!
8. His favorite toy - his dinosaur
9. His favorite holiday - the 4th of July because he loves to watch Uncle Bubby do fireworks
10. His favorite book - "How Do Dinosaurs Go To School?"
11. His favorite animal - a zebra and a picture of him with the zebras at the zoo
12. His favorite letter, color, and number - Letter B, Green, and the number 8

Once we had the poster made, we took it to school and he presented it to his class. He explained what each thing was and then they asked him questions. The teacher invited us to come and watch, so Hailey and I went over to see it. He was so cute!



Even though he's the star this week at school, he's a star every day at home - WE LOVE OUR STAR STUDENT!

1. Fixed the kids french toast for breakfast

3. Got BOTH kids down for a nap for about an hour (woo hoo!)
4. Went through the ads and coupons in the sunday paper
5. Put together a Book of Mormon yearly reading schedule for my Dad
6. Got my primary stuff done for next week
7. Donated all the gas in our lawnmower gas can to someone who ran out of gas in the church parking lot
8. Got another shopping list together for Albertson's for today - don't ask me how many transactions I've done there during their sale this week!

4. More money so that I didn't have to work

6. To be MUCH thinner!
